...and I WIN. From the previous post, I won the printer battle by borrowing his rent's Epson top-loading printer. Wonderful... now I get to print 4 enclosures for each of the 200 invitations.

I have finished many tasks thanks to the help of my beautiful ladies. Sara, Megan, and Karen came by a couple weekends ago to fold boxes and tie bows while he ironed. They blasted through everything so fast. It would have taken me way too long to do all of that by myself so I am very appreciative of their help. Thank you girls!

We also had our first food tasting and decided on the courses. Chef from the Radisson was apparently very nervous about creating our menu since he doesn't usually dip into the Asian-fusion food, but he did a FANTASTIC job infusing traditional elements into the courses. His rents came with us and they were satisfied with the menu as well. My mom was sick that weekend and could not make it.

That same weekend, we chose his wedding band and reset the engagement ring. He knew when he purchased the ring, that we would probably reset it since he didn't know what I wanted. He focused on the rock and did not worry about the band. A couple months ago, we scoped out our local jeweler, Thomas S. Fox, and found the most gorgeous setting by Kattan. We both fell in love with the setting and felt that it suited 'us'. I LOVE LOVE LOVE bands that have several thinner diamond bands entwined to form the ring. It's such a unique, modern look. In the end it was this setting that caught our eyes:


We are both very happy with the ring!

So as you can see, wedding planning has become my part-time job. I have been working on the enclosures and making the guestbook. He has some tasks too: planning the rehearsal dinner, obtaining the marriage license, ironing napkins, and he finished folding box mailers for me over the weekend. He thinks I'll have withdrawals after the wedding is over. I'm thinking that he is probably right.
