DIY - Flower Girl Baskets

We have two flower girls... my adorable cousins! They will both be wearing lavender dresses and carrying those brown satin baskets.

Tools:

• Baskets
• Fabric
• Ribbon
• Hot glue
• Any other embellishment

After Easter, I bought these woven baskets on sale at Micheal's.


I eyeballed and cut the fabric so that it would wrap around the outside and cover everything on the inside. Then I took the two corners opposite the open space where the handles weren't located and tucked them inside the basket.


I twisted the fabric on the outside and started wrapping it up the handle.


I secured any loose fabric with hot glue to the basket and then wrapped the handle with lavender ribbon and embellished with some crystals. And done.
