Life After Wedding

Moved and Live

January 28th, 2012

After almost 2.5 years of marriage, 300K hits, and maybe 4 years live on this site, I have finally moved it from Blogger to WordPress. The website is (for the most part) fully functional. I did, however, lose most of the comments when Haloscan changed. Hopefully, you’ll find a lot of the templates and pages intact. If they aren’t, please do me a favor and let me know so I can fix it!

That’s all for now. I’m working on an expansion… stay tuned.

Inframe Bride {Published}

Over a year after the wedding and our images just got published at Inframe Bride | Asian Tradition Meets Modern Design: Featured Wedding

Inframe Bride (online) is focused on showcasing beautiful photography from ‘eye-catching’ weddings by the top photographers from around the world. It’s printed in Michigan (at least what I gathered from the website).

Pretty cool, huh? They interviewed me via email and took the pictures from our live flickr site, so I didn’t handpick any of the images. What’s posted is what caught their eye.

We’re pretty thankful and think it’s cool to still have this site up and floating around. So… thank you!

Website Update

December 23rd, 2009

Hello brides. My comment server is switching to a paid format so I have to update all of my posts. Please be patient with the migration.

In other words, screw you, Haloscan.

Bridal Tea Gallery 2 Preview

December 9th, 2009

Just added another gallery from one of the photographers during the bridal tea ceremony.

well wishes from famil members during the tea offering

That’s my auntie wishing us well after we offered tea. (It was more like lukewarm water because we completely forgot about making tea while getting ready. There aren’t rules about that, are there?)

No Nose Picking?

December 7th, 2009

The truly awesome thing that Mitch, our photographer, did for us (and I think all of his clients) is give us all of the pictures. Granted, I didn’t need to search for the ones where people weren’t blinking, but it definitely allowed me to catch some funnies. I didn’t find anyone picking their noses though – thought he HAD to have caught someone do that in one of the 4,000+ pictures he and his assistant delivered.

My momma and my sister

Shoot. He probably caught me adjusting my girls in that wedding gown at some point and tastefully decided not to share, because who really wants to embarass a bride? Makes you wonder what your photographers are holding back on eh?

Anyway, I did post the family photo gallery for the family members to check out. Every. Single. Picture.

Pro: Trash the Dress Favorites

December 3rd, 2009

We booked a session with Mitch Ranger. He was kind enough to let our siblings in on the fun since our photo times on the day of the wedding were really limited. This selection is Mitch’s ‘best’! Please be patient for them to load!
